Coloured and white mid-powers from Osram

 Osram-Synios-S2222

Ratings range across 10mA to 200mA, and there are six colour options as well as whites:

  • white (3,000 – 6,500K, CRI >80)
  • blue (445 – 460nm)
  • green (520 – 540nm)
  • yellow (583 – 595nm, conversion and direct emission)
  • red (612 – 626nm)
  • deep red (626 – 636nm)

“For example, the yellow converted variant delivers a brightness of 50lm at 140mA,” according to Osram. “Depending on the application, additional optics can be applied to the respective component due to the centric chip position in the package.”

The package is 2.2 x 2.2 x 0.6mm. “Thanks to the package design, the products are easy to handle via pick and place in series production,” claimed Osram product manager Alvaro Wulff.

Osram has not ptrovided a link to the family product page< and I am struggling to find such a page, so here is a link to an example S2222 product.
